What a great start to the week! Over the weekend, our car was dented in a parking garage pole-related incident. (The pole was at fault, thank you. I wasn’t the one operating the car though, so I’m definitely not responsible). We went to bed on Sunday night with visions of dented bumpers dancing through our heads and woke up on Monday morning to find…

…Cat poop all over the carpet! Yes. Apparently the cat ate a large amount of ribbon at some point over the weekend and then saw fit to wipe ribbon poop all over the hallway carpet. Cleaning crap off the carpet is an excellent way to get psyched up for a long week of studying.

Having depooped the carpet, I headed off to school for an exciting day of Civil Procedure. I also had a career counseling appointment, where I learned that unless I want to work here in L.A., I’m on my own as far as finding jobs. That’s what I figured, but it still stunk to have it confirmed. I really need to get it together and work my butt off so that I can do well on finals and transfer out of here.
