2 words. Job hunt.
In addition to school work and having a life, everyone is expected to find a fabulous law-related summer job. Something prestigious, cause the school wants to look good.
I spent a ton of time updating my resume so that it would be ready for on campus interviews. When it was finally done according to the Office of Career Service's specifications, I submitted it for final approval. My counselor told me that she just made a few formatting changes before putting it in the pile for the employers I was interested in. Turns out she also added two typos (Apparently all those with a law degree have a need to replace words with synonyms for no reason at all. My writing professor does the same). Maybe that's why I got zero interviews... I'll never know.
I have one last opportuntity to pursue. A professor put in a good word with a judge. Now I have to not mess up the interview, which is not my strong point.
