End of the semester

We officially have just 1 week of classes left before exams. I feel like I'm just a little behind where I was last semester. I wish I had followed the advice from "Law School Confidential" and kept track of what I did to study for my exams last semester, because I don't know if I have done more or less to prepare this semester.

Since it's the end of the year, all of the clubs on campus are electing new officers. I was elected Treasurer of the Dems in an uncontested election. I'm told that everyone did at least vote for me (apparently someone once ran uncontested and still got no votes). Lots of people in my section are taking over leadership positions in clubs, so it seems that we really are the overachiever section.

Fingerprinting

I had to get fingerprinted for my summer job at the courthouse. They use a computer that scans your fingerprints into the system (just like CSI, but apparently the technician is tired of hearing about how it's like CSI).

So I got my right hand scanned all together and then one by one and then she moved on to my left hand. That's when the computer started to freeze between each finger and flash the warning "Match found!"

Apparently, four fingers on my left hand are on file. To my knowledge I have never ever been fingerprinted. My parents are sure that they never had me fingerprinted when I was little for any reason and I have never been fingerprinted for a job. The technician at the courthouse told me that it's really odd to have just 4 fingers on one hand on file because usually all ten prints are taken at once. I've emailed the HR person who is in charge of my program, but I haven't heard back yet so as of right now, I'm still really curious about how my prints got on file.
